What is Growing in Grace?
At A Glance
Growing in Grace Academy is a Christ-centered hybrid homeschool program for elementary-aged children. We meet Tuesday–Thursday from 9:30 AM–2:30 PM, where students receive core instruction from a teacher in a small, nurturing classroom setting.
On non-class days, families support learning at home through simple review and reinforcement of skills already taught in class. Parents are not expected to create lesson plans or teach new material — instruction and guidance are provided by the teacher.

Who Growing in Grace Academy Is For?
Growing in Grace Academy is designed for families seeking a Christ-centered, nurturing learning environment with small class sizes and hands-on instruction.
Our program is a great fit for families who value faith-based education, desire consistent classroom instruction paired with supportive learning at home, and are looking for a close-knit community that prioritizes character, creativity, and academic growth.
Families enrolled in Growing in Grace Academy participate in a hybrid homeschool model and remain actively involved in their child’s education in accordance with Pennsylvania homeschool law. While teachers provide core instruction during class days, families support learning at home through review and reinforcement of concepts already taught.
We encourage families to prayerfully consider whether this hybrid learning model aligns with their educational goals and expectations.

Questions
What makes us different?
Growing in Grace Academy is different from a typical co-op. Instead of parents rotating to teach, the teacher leads instruction in core subjects—Bible, ELA/reading, math, science, history, art, music, and life skills—and then sends home meaningful follow-up work.
Our approach is:
Christ-centered – daily devotions, prayer, and a Biblical worldview woven into every subject.
Charlotte Mason–inspired – hands-on learning, journaling, and creative exploration.
Family-supportive – a rhythm that balances structured classroom learning with flexible time at home.
The mission is summed up in our guided phrase:
“Nurturing young minds in Christ, where joy and learning blossom.”
